Soft and medium hardness TPU can be exposed to 100 °C for a short time. . The grades with high hardness can work for a short time at 120℃. TPU has excellent low temperature performance and high impact strength, and the material will not crack below -20℃.

Chemical properties: Because it is mainly composed of direct chain chemical bonds, it has poor ability to resist external medium erosion, so it has poor chemical properties such as acid and alkali resistance, and has a greater solubility in automotive oils containing ethanol. It has good swellability, but has good resistance to pure mineral oil and ester media.
4. Weather resistance: Generally, PU has good weather resistance. Although it will yellow slightly under long-term UV exposure, the performance of the material will not be affected too much. The formulations of PU products usually used in outdoor are equipped with ultraviolet absorbers, and sometimes carbon black pigments can be added when conditions permit, so that the materials can effectively absorb ultraviolet rays or shield ultraviolet rays, and improve the service life of the materials. The disadvantage of this type of product is that oil resistance, heat resistance and mechanical properties are not as good as CPU materials.
